Of course by "Adventures" I mean "Torturous Drivel on the Remarkably Mundane, All of Which I Believe to be True, for an Audience of Billions to Ignore." But frankly, "Adventures" sounds sexier.
The only thing better than this would have been video of you doing it. (I mean, you know, making this recording. I saw the video of you "doing it" on your other website and kudos to you for that performance as well, sir!)
With heartfelt thanks for nominating my loathsome self for a Creative Blogger Award. I stand unabashedly undeserving. However will I rise to the challenge? http://thiscatsabroad.blogspot.com/2010/03/creative-writer-blogger-award.html
In a haze of fatigue and insomnia I stumbled in to the Adventures of B. Freret at 2:57 this morning. Not quite sure where or who I was I had to ask myself; "Is Boudreau really this crazy or is it time to go to bed?" Have you ever had one of those moments? I think I left a comment, decided the computer screen was having an unhealthy effect on me and went to bed.
When I woke up, I was left with the uneasy feeling that I either made a really big mistake or suffered an hallucination. My comment had been rejected (or perhaps I had never writen one - I was that tired) but the video was still there so I gave it another listened. I wanted to answer that age-old question; was it really that brilliant or just one of those things that seems really funny when you're really tired?
Turns out it was about someone being arrested by an agent of the law and not about a literary agent after all. Knowing that my writing isn't going to result in bunk-beds, I may sleep better at night.
I briefly wrote iPhone game reviews. In them, I quoted John Cusack's 1985 film Better Off Dead, written and directed by Savage Steve Holland. If I ever get the opportunity to write game reviews for a professional outlet, I will quote Jodi Foster's 1994 film Nell.

I never say "OMG," but OMG this is hilarious.
